About this boat
With a crew running the boat, everyone just shows up: short island-to-island hops behind Kremik's sheltered chain, midday maestral for the sailors, town quays most nights. Kids take turns on the seadoo while the ice maker keeps drinks cold through the heat.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The yacht is covered by liability and hull insurance, and the insurance conditions form part of the GTC. The deductible per claim equals the security deposit and is borne by the charterer.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~715 HP engine burns roughly 57.2 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 1201 L ≈ €2246 at €1.87/L — scale it to your own plans.
Do I need a sailing licence in Croatia?
Not personally — a skipper is included with this boat and holds the licence. Generally, though: At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.
Can I bring my dog on board?
Pets are only allowed with our prior written consent, so please ask us before you book and get the okay in writing.
Are there limits on how I can use the boat?
The yacht is for recreational use only, so no commercial trips or paid passengers, and no subletting. You need our written consent to enter regattas or leave the agreed sailing area, and night sailing needs our express permission.
What happens if bad weather affects my trip or my return?
In strong winds (from force 6 Beaufort) you must head for a sheltered harbor. In your last 24 hours, stay close enough to the return port to arrive on time even in bad weather, as weather alone doesn't excuse a late return.
What should I do if something breaks or I have an accident?
Tell us immediately and follow our instructions, as we're reachable by phone or radio during office hours. Report any grounding or collision, and if you need a tow, use the yacht's own line and don't agree to any towing or salvage costs.
What condition should I return the boat in?
Bring it back swept-clean with a full fuel tank, and have it ready 1-2 hours before the agreed time. We carry out the final cleaning and record any damage in a return protocol.
When is the best time to sail in Croatia?
May–October, with the most reliable maestral winds and warm seas in June–September; July–August are the hottest and busiest.
