About this boat

Alina · Lagoon 42 · Owner's Version · 2023 Say hello to Alina, our 2023-model Lagoon 42 in the three-cabin owner's version. One whole hull is a private suite, while the other has two double cabins and two bathrooms, so everyone on board has space of their own. Electric toilets, a fan in every cabin, a flat-screen TV and a coffee machine make life on board easy. A Private Owner's Suite The owner's hull is one generous suite: a large double bed aft with storage drawers underneath, a settee and a long desk in the middle, a hanging wardrobe and shelves, and a spacious bathroom with a long vanity, a mirror cabinet and a separate glass shower stall. Large hull windows, opening hatches and a fan keep it bright and airy. Perfect for a couple who want their own space, or for the parents on a family holiday. Room for Everyone Alina has three double cabins and three bathrooms with electric toilets, and sleeps six guests in comfort in the double cabins, with two crew berths forward, one in each bow. The guest cabins are bright, with long hull windows, opening hatches and fans. One guest bathroom has a separate shower stall, the other a handheld shower at the basin. A water heater provides hot water, and there are 220 V sockets on board. Saloon and Galley Panoramic windows fill the saloon with light, and a big U-shaped settee with two poufs wraps around the dining table. There's a flat-screen TV, a capsule coffee machine and a front-opening fridge. The L-shaped galley has a three-burner gas hob, a gas oven, a microwave, a stainless steel sink and plenty of worktop and storage. Navigation The chart table has a Raymarine Axiom touchscreen chartplotter, a Raymarine fixed VHF radio, a stereo and a USB socket. Alina also has an autopilot and wind and speed instruments. Sail or Simply Relax A fully battened mainsail in a lazy bag and a furling genoa keep sail handling simple, and two 57 hp Yanmar diesel engines make manoeuvring easy. Solar panels help keep the batteries topped up. Life on Deck A bimini gives shade, the cockpit has cushions and speakers, and sun pads invite you to stretch out in the sun. An outside shower lets you rinse off after a swim, and a dinghy takes you ashore. Steady and Easy to Handle With a length of 12.79 m (42 ft), a 7.68 m (25 ft) beam and a shallow 1.29 m (4.2 ft) draft, she's wonderfully stable and can tuck into the Ionian's quiet coves. We can't wait to welcome you aboard Alina.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit. You can lower the deposit by adding the operator’s damage waiver.
Do I need a sailing licence in Greece?
Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.
When is the best time to sail in Greece?
April–October, hot and dry with the strong northerly Meltemi wind peaking in July–August, especially across the Cyclades.
