Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: All members of the party must have comprehensive travel insurance for the full holiday period. It must cover cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances arising from the date of booking, and must properly cover the activities undertaken.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~54 HP engine burns roughly 4.3 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 90 L ≈ €176 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

You need either two people with appropriate sailing licences, or one licensed skipper plus a competent, experienced crew member. Our base manager may ask you to demonstrate your competence, and if needed you may have to hire a skipper or co-skipper for the trip.

On skippered charters, you cover the skipper's and co-skipper's expenses, including meals on board and ashore.

Yes, one-way transportation between Skiathos and Volos, in either direction, is available for 150 euros per transportation.

Please return the boat in the same condition as when you collected it. We check this at handover, and any minor damages are deducted from your security deposit.

Extras are paid in cash when you embark. You can pay for your booking by credit card through our online system, which carries a 5% surcharge to cover transaction costs.
