About this boat

Hanse 415 – A Premium Sailing Experience With its modern design, superior sailing performance, and exceptionally spacious living areas, the Hanse 415 offers an exclusive yachting experience for those seeking a luxury bareboat charter. Thanks to its furling mainsail and furling genoa, the yacht is easy and safe to handle, and the intelligently designed deck layout allows for comfortable sailing even with a minimal crew. The wide hull design and high interior ceilings create a remarkable sense of space and light throughout the yacht. The elegantly finished teak cockpit enhances both comfort and aesthetics, while the twin steering wheels provide excellent control, balance, and precision, especially during high-speed sailing and maneuvering. Equipped with a chartplotter and the latest navigation and onboard technologies, the Hanse 415 meets modern sailing standards at the highest level. Hand towels, bath towels, bed sheets, bedspreads, pillows, and pillowcases are all included in the charter price, ensuring a seamless and refined onboard experience. The yacht is based at Fethiye Yes Marina, with the first day and the last evening marina berthing included free of charge. Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The vessel is insured against third-party damage, fire, lightning, explosion, theft or robbery, natural disasters, marine and collision risks, and any loss or damage except the equipment listed in the contract.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~40 HP engine burns roughly 3.2 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 67 L ≈ €101 at €1.50/L — scale it to your own plans.
Do I need a sailing licence in Turkey?
Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: No licence is required by Turkish law, but charter companies require proof of competence such as an ICC or RYA Day Skipper certificate.
Are there limits on how I can use the boat?
The boat is for personal cruising only, so commercial use, subletting and hauling it out are not allowed. Racing or sailing outside coastal waters needs our written permission beforehand.
Can I sail in strong wind or at night?
You can't leave port or anchorage if the wind is or is forecast to be above Beaufort 7 (about 30 knots), or if harbour authorities have banned sailing. Night sailing is only allowed with all navigation lights working and an adequate watch on deck.
What sailing experience does my crew need?
The skipper or a crew member must be able to handle the boat safely, and we may check this with a short sail together. If we find the skipper or crew lack the needed competence, we can set sailing limits or end the contract. You could then use the boat only as floating accommodation.
How many people can come aboard?
The number of people on board can't exceed the number stated in the Crew List. We also need the full name, date and place of birth and passport number of every crew member ahead of time.
What should I do if something breaks during my charter?
Report it to us right away, and report any accident or serious damage to the authorities as well. For technical issues that stop you using the boat, we aim to solve them within 24 hours of your complaint.
When is the best time to sail in Turkey?
April–October along the Turquoise Coast (Bodrum, Göcek, Fethiye); hot, dry summers with gentle afternoon breezes ideal for cruising.
