About this boat

FLORAMYE / FP ALEGRIA 67 EXPAND YOUR HORIZONS If sailing is an art form, the Alegria 67 is clearly its instrument. Designed to break free of all limits and conventions, she has enjoyed well-deserved success, courtesy of her myriad creature comforts, carefully selected for those who want to explore further afield. With a waterline length of over 20 metres, it’s only logical that the Alegria 67 should include the quality of equipment and features worthy of this boat’s status as a true yacht. UNIQUE DESIGN While her many spaces can all be fully opened for remarkable connectivity, there is still outstanding access when they are closed. The inner saloon has a door providing direct access to the forward cockpit when you which to serve up a snack from the galley. A practical and convenient solution to suit all conditions. While boasting an abundance of space and volume, she remains a sailing yacht at heart. The two helm stations on either side of her expansive flybridge are a reminder of this, and, with her performance rig, the Alegria 67 is undeniably a Fountaine Pajot

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: All vessels have Kasko cover with a deductible up to the deposit amount in the Price List. The policy includes compulsory passenger insurance and compulsory third-party insurance.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~170 HP engines burn roughly 13.6 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 286 L ≈ €535 at €1.87/L — scale it to your own plans.
Do I need a sailing licence in Croatia?
Not personally — a skipper is included with this boat and holds the licence. Generally, though: At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.
Can I bring my dog or other pet on board?
Pets are not allowed unless we have given you our prior written consent, so please ask before booking.
Can I sail at night or take part in a regatta?
Night sailing and racing regattas both need our prior written consent. You also can't use the boat for commercial purposes or lend it to anyone else.
What happens if the weather turns bad?
Please don't leave port if winds above 25 knots are expected or the port authority has banned departures. If you get caught in a gale, tell us your exact location so we can help. Weather isn't accepted as a reason for returning late, so plan to be well away from the base during your last 24 hours.
What if we aren't confident enough to skipper ourselves?
We may ask you to show your sailing competence on the water before you set off. If we feel you aren't ready, we'll assign a skipper at the Price List rate. If you decline the skipper, you can't leave port and the paid charter rate is kept.
What should I do if something breaks during the charter?
Tell us straight away and follow our instructions. You can repair normal wear-and-tear damage up to EUR 150 and be reimbursed on return, but agree any towing rescue fee before accepting help. Unreported damage is treated as your responsibility.
