Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The operator states the yacht is handed over with up-to-date sailing documentation, civil liability insurance and yacht casco (hull) insurance for the permitted area of use. The documents are part of the yacht's equipment.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~75 HP engine burns roughly 6 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 126 L ≈ €236 at €1.87/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

No. Transporting animals on the yacht is not allowed, so please plan for pets to stay ashore.

Yes. Towing and racing are not allowed except to save lives, and smoking is prohibited on board. You also can't sub-rent the yacht or hand it over to anyone else without written permission.

A trained and approved person must be in command whenever the yacht is at sea. If you or a crew member holds the qualifications, you'll show proof when the yacht is handed over. Sailing without such a person carries a EUR 1,000 penalty.

Everyone sailing must be on the crew list you give us at least 7 days before departure. We may check IDs at handover. Unlisted people can't come aboard without our permission, and unauthorised guests carry a penalty.

Tell us right away, and don't attempt repairs yourself, because we handle major repairs at a time and place we arrange. Minor wear-and-tear fixes and used consumables are at your cost. A fault doesn't reduce the rental price, so reporting it quickly helps keep you protected.
