Designed for both performance and comfort, she offers generous living spaces, reliable sailing equipment, and a fully equipped interior for a carefree onboard experience. The yacht is based at Fethiye Yes Marina, one of the most popular and well-equipped marinas in the region. First and last day marina fees at Fethiye are included in the price, allowing you to start and end your holiday without additional costs. Fethiye is renowned for its unique natural beauty, crystal-clear waters, sheltered bays, historic sites, and nearby islands. From the famous Göcek bays to untouched anchorages, the region offers some of the finest sailing routes in the Mediterranean, combining nature, culture, and tranquility. The yacht is equipped with a marine generator and marine air conditioning, ensuring comfort both at sea and at anchor. Solar panels support energy efficiency during longer stays, while the teak cockpit provides a stylish and comfortable outdoor living area. Sailing is easy and safe thanks to the furling mainsail and furling genoa, making her suitable for both experienced sailors and relaxed family cruising. Navigation is supported by a modern chartplotter, offering confidence and convenience underway. Cooking gas is included, allowing you to enjoy onboard meals without additional concerns. For your comfort, bed linens, bed sheets, pillows, hand towels, and bath towels are all included in the price. A dinghy (without engine) is also included, making shore access easy and practical. The charterer is free to sail the yacht anywhere between Antalya and Kuşadası, provided that the vessel remains within Turkish territorial waters and is returned to the base on time and in the agreed condition. This Beneteau Oceanis 40 is an excellent choice for guests seeking a reliable, spacious, and fully equipped sailing yacht, combined with the unmatched sailing experience that Fethiye and the Turkish Riviera have to offer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The vessel is insured against third-party damage, fire, lightning, explosion, theft or robbery, natural disasters, marine and collision risks, and any loss or damage except the equipment listed in the contract.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~40 HP engine burns roughly 3.2 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 67 L ≈ €101 at €1.50/L — scale it to your own plans.
Do I need a sailing licence in Turkey?
Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: No licence is required by Turkish law, but charter companies require proof of competence such as an ICC or RYA Day Skipper certificate.
Are there limits on how I can use the boat?
The boat is for personal cruising only, so commercial use, subletting and hauling it out are not allowed. Racing or sailing outside coastal waters needs our written permission beforehand.
Can I sail in strong wind or at night?
You can't leave port or anchorage if the wind is or is forecast to be above Beaufort 7 (about 30 knots), or if harbour authorities have banned sailing. Night sailing is only allowed with all navigation lights working and an adequate watch on deck.
What sailing experience does my crew need?
The skipper or a crew member must be able to handle the boat safely, and we may check this with a short sail together. If we find the skipper or crew lack the needed competence, we can set sailing limits or end the contract. You could then use the boat only as floating accommodation.
How many people can come aboard?
The number of people on board can't exceed the number stated in the Crew List. We also need the full name, date and place of birth and passport number of every crew member ahead of time.
What should I do if something breaks during my charter?
Report it to us right away, and report any accident or serious damage to the authorities as well. For technical issues that stop you using the boat, we aim to solve them within 24 hours of your complaint.
When is the best time to sail in Turkey?
April–October along the Turquoise Coast (Bodrum, Göcek, Fethiye); hot, dry summers with gentle afternoon breezes ideal for cruising.
