About this boat
The Saronic keeps hops short and the sea breeze moderate, so a big crew can swim, take the tender out and be tied up at a taverna town by evening. The icemaker and washing machine make a hot week easy to live with.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: Clients are advised to secure insurance coverage for their trip.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~114 HP engines burn roughly 9.1 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 191 L ≈ €372 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.
Do I need a sailing licence in Greece?
Not personally — this boat requires a skipper, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.
What isn't included in the charter price?
The rate doesn't cover water, provisioning, extra linen, running expenses or mooring fees. If you'd like provisions or an airport-to-base transfer, we can arrange them on request.
Is there a reduced VAT rate on the charter?
Yes, rates include a discounted 12% VAT instead of the usual 24%. To keep it, your skipper must return a stamped declaration confirming you reached a port at least 6 nautical miles from where you set off.
What cleaning do I need to handle when I return the boat?
A compulsory end cleaning fee is paid in cash at the base. It covers cleaning, cooking gas, water and linen (sheets, pillowcases and bath towels), so you don't need to do the full clean yourself. The fee depends on the yacht's size and type.
What happens if I'm not happy with something during my trip?
Email us your complaint with supporting documentation within 24 hours of check-out. We reply within 14 days, and any compensation is limited to the value of the affected service.
Are there any discounts available?
We offer discounts for internet bookings, multiple-week charters and repeat clients.
