Your notifications, the email you sign in with, your passkeys and deleting your account are all on one page: open My Settings from the menu behind your picture at the top right, then General. Each switch saves the moment you change it. These are your own settings, whether you book boats, work as an agent or run a charter company; on a company, every team member sets their own. Closing a company is on a different page, for the company owner only, and is covered at the end.
Where to find it
- Click your picture at the top right and open My Settings.
- Click General.

The email you sign in with
The first line reads Signed in as your address, followed by verified or not verified. To change it:
- Click Change.
- Type the new address and click Send link.
- If your current address is verified, open the email Confirm your new email address we send there and click Confirm Change. We then send Verify your new email address to the new address; open it and click Verify Email. From then on you sign in with the new address.
- If your current address is not verified, only the second email is sent, to the new address.
Each link works for an hour. If a link has expired or was already used, the page says That link expired or was already used. Request a new one below. Click Change and send a new one. If the new address already belongs to another account, nothing is sent and your address stays as it is. For a company, changing your own email does not change the company's contact email, which is in Settings, then Company.
Notifications
These decide how you hear about new messages.
- Email Notifications: an email when someone sends you a message. It is on unless you switch it off.
- SMS Notifications: a text message when someone messages you. Texts go to the phone number saved under WhatsApp Notifications. With no number saved there, no text is sent.
- WhatsApp Notifications: a WhatsApp message when someone messages you. When you switch it on, a phone number field appears. Type your number with the country code, for example +30 690 000 0000. It is saved when you click outside the field.
A short Saved message confirms each change.
Dark mode
Dark Mode is the first switch under My Settings, then Profile. It switches the site to a darker colour scheme and saves the moment you change it.
Passkeys
Security lets you sign in with Face ID, Touch ID or your device PIN instead of a password. Click + Add a passkey and follow your device. Click Remove next to a passkey to stop using it. The section shows only in browsers that support passkeys. How to sign in with one is in How do I sign in, reset my password or use a passkey?.
How to delete your account
- At the bottom of the page, under Danger Zone, click Delete Account.
- Read the box that opens. If you want the photos you added to boats and places deleted too, tick the box for it. Left unticked, they stay, with your name removed.
- Type DELETE and click Delete Account.
What is deleted: your account, your profile and settings, and your saved routes and favorites. Videos you uploaded are deleted whether you tick the box or not. If you are an affiliate or an agent, your affiliate or agent profile is deleted with all its commission records, paid or unpaid.
What stays: your bookings. They are kept for the charter company and our records, with the name and email they were made under, but they are no longer linked to an account. If you belong to a company, you leave it; the company and its partner-listed boats stay.
When it is refused: you cannot delete your account while you have bookings that are still active. The message reads Cannot delete account with active bookings. Please resolve all pending bookings first. Let them finish, or cancel them first.
How to close your company
Only the company owner sees Delete Company. It is at the bottom of Settings, then Company, in your dashboard.
- Click Delete.
- Read the list in the box that opens. It says what is removed.
- Type DELETE in the box.
- Click Delete Company.
What is removed: the boats you created yourself and their data, your calendar sources and sync history, your team members and invitations, and your contracts and templates.
What stays: boats that reach us through MMK or Nausys keep their listings. To take those off the market, withdraw them in MMK or Nausys. Past bookings, reviews and payout records are kept. In that case the message reads Company closed — its partner listings stay with MMK/Nausys.
When it is refused: you cannot close a company while it has active bookings, or while a payout to you is still owed. The message says how many. Let the bookings finish or cancel them first.
